Why is eToys closing?
On February 26,
2001, eToys announced our intention to file for bankruptcy within 10
days. At this time, it was felt that the uncertain outlook in the
financial markets surrounding our business precluded us from
continuing to grow and build eToys.com.
What should I do with my gift certificates and
coupons?
We are no longer accepting orders, so
unfortunately, gift certificates and coupons are no longer valid for
product purchases at this time. Due to ongoing bankruptcy
proceedings, we are unable to make a final determination on whether
or not refunds will be offered for unused gift certificates.
I placed an order before the site shut down. How
long will it take to arrive?
Due to the positive response
to our Clearance Sale, many orders are taking up to the maximum
amount of time allowed for delivery. We are doing everything we can
to get orders to our customers as quickly as possible. Thank you for
your patience.

Standard: 7-15 business days
Premium:
3-6 business days
Express: 2-3 business days

days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Can I still return or exchange items that I
ordered?
All sales are final for orders placed on or
after February 27, 2001. No returns or exchanges will be
accepted and no credits will be issued. For all orders placed
before February 27, 2001 we must receive your return or
credit request in our warehouse by 11:59 PM PST on March 14, 2001 in
order to process it. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this
may cause.
Do you still have a privacy policy?
Yes.
We do not sell, rent, loan, or transfer any personal information
regarding our customers or their children to any unrelated third
parties.
