router sweltering under Bolzano sky
Because we "only" have a Wifi connection to TANK-8 in Bolzano, we put a router serving as client on top of the TANK to ensure a somewhat reliable connection to the factory building containing the actual access point. Cargo containers tend to be very good shields, so having a Wifi-client in direct line of sight was necessary.

etoy.MANAGEMENT is proud to announce that another 40 ' High Cube Container was sent off to the etoy.UNIVERSE today. the TANK will be modified and later serves as MISSION ETERNITY SEED ENCAPSULATION TANK in Voelklingen near Saarbruecken. the plan is to inject 5000 to 7500 children into a MISSION ETERNITY SCREENING GRID between May 2007 and April 2008.
modification starts next friday and will be finished on the 2nd of May 2007. a team of two etoy.AGENTS will oversee welding, insulation and wood works within the next few weeks. another 4 etoy.AGENTS install children processing hardware and software in late april 2007.

the art is great but the circumstances under which we currently work are fucked up! media art festivals really have a problem... isea for instance burns all the resources for the non-art part. sure... there are many reasons for this... but to burn 100% for organizational aspects and 0% for art production is wrong.
hopefully monoroms smile and all our passion helps us to survive the crisis we are facing.
